Warm Up 5/26/09

As we all know death is unexpected. For some it is around the corner while for others it is a few more miles down. I will never truly know when I will die until the day it knocks at my door. But, if I were to die tomorrow I would hope that I was remembered for all of the good things and not the bad. I know I have made many mistakes but I also have done other good things. At my funeral or memorial I would want people to wear colorful clothing and not black. I like the color black, but not to much it is just to depressing. I have never really experienced death before. No one that I know has died yet. On May 22, 2009 my friend Jason Eichelberger passed away. He was such a free spirited perosn, he always seemd to cheer me up. He was one I least expected to die. I shed many tears, but as his beloved wife Michelle told us in the memorial he wished for when he died that we would not mourn long. For him I will not mourn long...I will just keep him in my mind and heart. I also wish the same for when I die. I want whoever mourns to not mourn long and keep me in their mind and hearts as well.
